Welcome to my website! My name is Malou Houtman and I am a passionate physiotherapist with almost 20 years of experience. In recent years I have shifted my focus to the field of breathing and mindfulness. Why? Because I increasingly encountered patients who struggled with physical complaints due to stress and chronic hyperventilation, also known as dysfunctional breathing.
Through my specialization in breathing and mindfulness, I have learned how these essential aspects of our well-being are closely linked. Too much stress and disturbed breathing can have a huge impact on our bodies and minds, and I am determined to help people break this cycle.
